HI I’M ADRIENNE

I have been a music educator for over 30 years. I currently teach the flute at some of Sydney's most prestigious schools including Northholm Grammar School, Loreto Normanhurst and Lorien Novalis Steiner School, as well as running my own private teaching practice in Sydney's North West. I have been a woodwind examiner for the AMEB for over 20 years and have recently been appointed an AMEB flute diploma examiner. I hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Music Education from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and a Graduate Diploma and a Master’s Degree in Sound Design from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School. I have a strong belief in the therapeutic value of music and have studied music therapy at both UTS Kuring-Gai and the University of Melbourne. I am a qualified Holistic Creative Arts Therapist and a Sound Healing Practitioner.

  • “Adrienne understands her students as individuals. She adapts to their learning needs whilst encouraging them to invite challenge to the rehearsal space, which I think makes her so unique. Her dedication to her craft always empowered me as a student, and to spend my entire high school education under her tutelage was a true privilege.”
